![]() The plates on the remains suggests that the creature was more defensive rather than offensive. This could also be why the plates along its back are angled, it is to help it burrow beneath sand. This would mean that the Plated Leviathan may have been able to burrow itself under the sand just like the Sand Shark is able to do. The Plated-leviathan may have had an almost identical set of legs to that of a Sand Shark (the Rockgrub also has 2 sets of short legs but instead are in a row of 5). The Sand Shark has 12 legs that appear in two rows of 6 on their underbelly. The remains have a total of 12 holes (6 on each side) with an unknown purpose. There is also another similarity that the remains and the Sand Shark share. The Sand Shark has an exoskeleton that is similar to the remains bone-like plates (the Boneshark also Exhibits similar plate-like bones along its back). The remains could be a relative of the Sand Shark. The plates on the remains are somewhat similar with the the chest of the Sea Dragon Leviathan. The creature seemed to be a interesting specimen to the precursors. The creature is missing a incisor on both the upper and lower jaw, but in different positions. The remains also have 12 symmetrical holes (which could be the sockets for the creatures fins or other appendages that helped the creature propel itself through the water), Just like the Behemoth Leviathan, the remains have 6 eye sockets. The remains appear to have a plate-like bone structure (hence the reason I called it the Plated Leviathan). *these are only theories, do not consider them factual information, they are only speculation*įor the time being, I have decided to refer to the Ancient Skeleton as the Plated Leviathan The lack of larger prey for the creature to consume led to the creature to die (starvation). The lack of a food source, led to the creature not having enough energy to venture out and find new prey to feed upon. One possiblility is that the creature died from a lack of a sufficient food supply. The creature may have died from the lack of a food supply. The smaller specimen’s cause of death unknown (feel free to express your own theories on its cause of death). (because they are from the third party feeding on the deceased Behemoth’s corpse). This would account for the indentations on its ribcage. It probably died from a lack of a food source (though, there could be another cause). ![]() Because of the creatures massive size, it could have became trapped in the lost river, or the planets tectonic plates shifted causing the burrow to cave in, and trapped the creature inside. The Behemoth Leviathan’s most likely cause of death was the cave system. The more plausible explanation for the indentations on the ribcage is that the the third party fed upon them after the Behemoth already died. One might say that this could be a contributing factor in the Behemoth Leviathans death, however this is very unlikely. We know from the previous data entry that a third party left indentions on the remains ribcage. If the Behemoth Leviathan did exhibit an eels behavior, or a similar behavior to an eel, it is likely that it used the cave system as it’s burrow. ![]() It is possible that the lost river was the the Behemoth Leviathan’s habitat. However, there is a possible explanation for this. A creature of that size would be expected to live in deeper waters, not a cave system. The remains of the Behemoth Leviathan can be found in the biome known as the Lost River. Unlike the larger set of remains, no rib cage can be found. These remains are smaller than the Gargantuan fossil, suggesting these remains are of a juvenile of its species). There are currently no living specimens of the Behemoth Leviathan, however this is not the only Behemoth Leviathan we can find.Īnother set of remains can be discovered in the Ghost Forest. The remains have similar characteristics to that of a eel, or an eel-like creature. This suggests that from the creatures decaying, the biomes flora began to flourish. The fossilized remains appear to support a variety of microorganisms. Intentions on the ribs suggest another life form has fed upon the Behemoth Leviathan multiple times on a previous date. The jaws are large enough for a Cyclops to be fit iinside, and has 2 large horns protruding from its skull. It has a total of 72 teeth, (40 on the lower jaw and 32 on the upper jaw), which includes its 4 incisors. The skull has 6 eye sockets, just like the Plated Leviathan. We can only observe a third of the skeletal remains, which suggests that the creature was far larger than both the Sea Emperor Leviathan and the Sea Dragon Leviathan. For the time being, I decided to refer to the Gargantuan fossil as the Behemoth Leviathan.
